BAKING COURSES
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR NORWEGIAN BAKING COURSES
I am delighted to announce that I am now offering baking courses from my dedicated bakery in Corsham, Wiltshire.
Daytime and evening sessions are available for one or two people at a time.
Please register your interest using the form below. I will then contact you to organise a suitable date, finalise baking choices and provide information on how to pay. I also sell gift vouchers for these courses.
Short Day Course
9:30am - 2:30pm
£80 per person, one or two people per class

You will make a yeast dough.

Before the class, you will have chosen one of the following to bake:
1) traditional cinnamon buns (plain and with caramalised apple)
2) custard buns, sunshine buns (containing raspberry and custard, finished with a light icing) and school bread (a custard bun finished with thick icing and coconut)
3) pizza rolls (with or without black olives, or do half and half!) -
You will also make soft oaty cookies; you can choose from three different types.

You will take all your bakes home with you - some to eat and some to freeze!

NB I will phone you to discuss what you would like to bake once I receive your registration form.
Full Day Course
9:30am - 4pm
£120 per person, one or two people per class

You will make a yeast dough and then from it, you will make traditional cinnamon buns (plain and with caramalised apple), school bread (a custard bun finished with thick icing and coconut) and sunshine buns (containing raspberry and custard, finished with a light icing)

You will also make a a traditional eplekake (apple cake), as well as soft oaty cookies.

We will have a short break for lunch and enjoy some traditional Norwegian food as well as browse some baking books while you relax!
Evening Class
6 - 8:30pm
£60 per person, one or two people per class

The yeast dough will be prepared for you in advance and then you will form it into buns; this allows time for a second prove, baking and cooling.

Before the class, you will have chosen one of the following to bake:
1) knekkebrød (Norwegian crispbread, vegan and gluten-free) and gluten-free cookies
2) traditional cinnamon buns (plain and with caramalised apple) and Norwegian cookies
3) pizzasnurrer - pizza rolls with or without olives and cookies. Tomato and shallot sauce will be made in advance. -
