Prior to the Covid pandemic, I was running Norwegian baking courses at a cookery school in Devizes. Now that I have converted my garage into a kitchen, I am able to teach Norwegian baking again. Classes will be either on a 1:1 basis or a maximum of two people, ie two adults or a parent/ carer and a child.
Baking can be therapeutic and it's a good activity to take your mind off other things. You will go home with the bakes you have made in class.
I will be running a three hour evening course, a four hour day course to fit in with school runs as well as a full day course.
The short courses do not allow for guests to make their own dough. I will make the dough for buns and it will be ready for your arrival to make into the buns you want, which can be cinnamon buns, cinnamon buns with caramalised apples, vanilla buns or raspberries buns or our custard buns which are school breads and sunshine buns. You can make a couple of each and take home quite a selection for your friends and family!
Guests attending the full day course will learn how to make dough from scratch.
